Appalachian Trail Tribute Garden

ATC Porch

The Appalachian Trail Tribute Garden will be located at Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) Headquarters in historic Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.

The Tribute Garden will be a space to celebrate and remember those who have walked on, helped protect or been inspired by the Appalachian Trail. For hikers and guests alike, it will be a lovely and tranquil place to savor the morning sun or evening breeze while enjoying the views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains.

Loved ones can be honored or memorialized in the garden through engraved bricks (standard or large) and other furnishings and landscape features. See list below for a full list of items. Bricks may be purchased online, but please contact us at [email protected] if you are interested in other items. Net proceeds from this project will support the work and ongoing mission of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.

Groundbreaking for the Appalachian Trail Tribute Garden occurred in fall 2017, and we expect it to be completed in late spring 2018.
